Sync Playback Settings
To start using sync playback you must initialize a websocket server from this instance. It is highly recommended that you only use the server for local area networks. To start the server you must input your local ip address and set the port number. Then click start server.

To connect to a server input the ip number / address and port number and click connect to server.

To broadcast a sync message to other connected instances you must have a tab open and a media item playing, then command+click the settings button (the cogwheel icon) in the menu bar. This will broadcast a signal to other connected instances. Note that connected instances must have the exact same file structure and same external device names for library locations for sync playback to work.

Make sure the volume has the same name and is mounted with the same name. (Sometimes mounted drives will receive other names than their given names) For example: 'drive-1' instead of just 'drive'.

When a connection is established the server connection will turn green if it fails or disconnects it will turn red.
